We looked around for handheld vacuums for quick cleaning and a handy tool. Didn't feel like lugging the big vacuum everytime we do the interiors of the car or some small cleaning around kitchen. In fact bought few other products from the market and returned them as we were not too satisfied. Then I came across this product on Amazon, saw the demo at a website.
Honestly in recent times, from all the tools I have bought, this is one of the best buys! We are so happy. And essentially, it's vacuuming neck has almost 180degree tilting options, so easier to reach corners, or under the cabinet.
Its a great engineered product and designed with enduser in mind. If you are in the market for a handy, super-useful, versatile product, try this, you posibly can't go wrong!

I tried this hand vac over one weekend before I bought it from Amazon, and it far surpassed all its written claims! I then purchased it and use it almost daily, usually on the cars, kitchen and on the stairs. The other hand vac I was considering was the 800 watt euro-pro epo35 of Shark.Unfortunately, the photo they used in their ad was of a mini vac, model epo31;and in the Technical Data (out of the box section),the vac was described as a 400 watt epo31 mini shark and not the 800 watt epo35.WhenI wrote them asking for clarification, I received no reply and no acknowledgement!.I see they have now replaced the photo!.So I got the Black and Decker 18 volt hand vac, and am I glad I did!! You can't go wrong with this machine, and I recommend it highly!!Customer Review: Very powerful but loud and hard to empty!

I really love this handless vacuum. It's attractive and incredibly powerful. The battery lasts very long time after a complete charge. I disconnect the charger after a full charge (to preserve battery life and efficacy)and the charge lasts a few weeks!
I have pets and this device is indispensable for vacuuming cat hair, bird feathers/dust, and much more.
My only complaints are:
1) The vacuum's cannister is a bit hard (and messy) to empty. I find myself having to use fingers to empty it, and that's kind of gross.
2) It's very LOUD! Every time I use it my pets get scared!
Despite these two factors, I feel that this hand vac is the best one I've ever owned. It's super powerful!!

I've used the product for several months now & I'm happy with it. It works well, has good suction, and the size makes it very convenient to use for quick clean ups. Only negative is that it's pretty loud. Highly recommended.
Product update May 2010:
Got rid of vacuum after a few years of service. Battery would only hold about 3 minutes of charge & vacuum's noise grew increasingly louder until I could no longer tolerate it (nor could my family when they were around). Also, I think a flap at the base of the nozzle broke off so debris could not be contained after it got sucked up so I had to empty the vacuum after each use. It became very inconvenient to use but it was good while it lasted. I would not purchase another one.

If you only want to buy one vacuum, absolutely, this one is one of the best choices. It is a good helper for keeping your car,kitchen, living room and stairs clean. ,Easy carry but super strong.
First,it is strong, maybe more stronger that i expected(compared with another old black and decker vacuum i had). As some reviews said, for this product, hair really is nothing.
Second, fine design. Contemporary looking. like the little transformer.
If you want me to say something bad, the only thing i want to complain is about the sound. It is a little bit noisy, but acceptable, when you satisfied with it's super clean up work , you will feel better.
